A/Prof Roslyn Francis

A/Prof Francis is an academic Nuclear Medicine Physician with 20 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, including as A/Prof of Molecular Imaging at University of Western Australia and Nuclear Medicine Specialist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, WA. She recently commenced a specialist position at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Qld.   

A/Prof Francis obtained her PhD in the UK, undertaking a Cancer Research UK Clinical Research Fellowship on antibody therapies.  A/Prof Francis has continued to pursue a combined clinical and research career, and has a particular interest in clinical trials in molecular imaging & therapy, and imaging analytics.

A/Prof Francis is the inaugural scientific chair of Australasian Radiopharmaceutical Trials Network (ARTnet), co-founder of Australian Centre for Quantitative Imaging (ACQI), Co-Director of Western Australian node of the National Imaging Facility and Clinical Director of National Centre for Asbestos Related Diseases.  She served as President of Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) from 2018-2020.
