Dr David Chan is a medical oncologist with a subspecialty interest in neuroendocrine tumours. He completed a fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, as well as a PhD investigating the role of PET scans as biomarkers in NETs. He works as an oncologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and Genesiscare St Leonards. He is the chair of the NET group of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia, and is also currently a NHMRC Emerging Leadership fellow at the University of Sydney to further his postdoctoral research.
